Before being cleared for the Capstone internship, Paramedic students must meet several important requirements. Students must complete all coursework, pass all unit exams and the final exam, attend all three required skills labs, complete their clinical and field internship hours, and fulfill all Student Minimum Competency (SMC) requirements.

Once these requirements are fully met, students can submit the Request for Course Review to Begin Paramedic Capstones. After the request is reviewed and approved, students will receive additional instructions on how to begin scheduling their Capstone shifts.
